Main Tasks

• Teaching people the truth of God’s word and helping them to come into the light of the glorious gospel of Christ.
• To raise up an army of high intellectual capacity. To nurture spiritually sound believers who would be terrors to the kingdom of darkness.
• To maintain, retain, sustain and display Christians who would be seen as all-around-success in every department of life.

Raising an army for the Lord that will walk in the light of God’s work.

Jeremiah 15:16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.

Isaiah 2:5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.

Isaiah 9:2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

• To establish a place of worship for a group of believers
• To establish and edify the faith of believers in fellowship, prayer and praise.
• To learn the Word of God through the teaching and preaching of the Holy Scriptures.
• To be a public witness (in testimony and outreach) for the Lord Jesus Christ.

The task of local church is to glorify God and to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Head of the Church, which is His body. The object of the church is to further the Christian faith. This it does by pursuing the following:

1. In worship, prayer and praise to adore Him, ever seeking to grow in the knowledge of Him. and in all matters to obey Him.
2. To proclaim the Gospel of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God.

• To build up its members in holiness and conformity to the will or God according to the Word of God.

3. To diligently search the Holy Scriptures discovering new lights and revelations: and propagating same to the church members and the world at large,

We accept the Holy Scriptures, as originally given. as the pure, perfect. infallible and inerrant Word of God. of divine inspiration. Recognizing them as our sole authority in all matters of faith and practice. We believe the doctrines taught therein, including in particular the following:

1. We Believe in the only true and living God, the Holy Trinity of Divine Persons, in perfect unity: Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, each of which is co-equal and co-eternal, and sovereign in creation, providence and redemption.

2. We believe in God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is holy, righteous, full of grace, compassion and love. In His infinite love, He sent forth the Son, that the world through Him might be saved.

3. We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God, whose true humanity and full deity were mysteriously and really joined in the unity of His divine Person. We believe in the virgin birth, in His perfect life and teachings, in His substitution, atoning death on the cross, where He triumphed over Satan, sin and death, in His bodily resurrection and His ascension into Heaven where He now sits in glory at the right hand of God.

4. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person in the Godhead, whose work is indispensable to regenerate the sinner, to lead him to repentance, to give him faith in Christ, to sanctify the believer to his present life and fit him to enjoy fellowship with God. For spiritual power and effectiveness, His ministry is essential to the individual Christian and to the Church.

5. We believe that as a result of the Fall, all men are sinful by nature. Sin pollutes and controls them, infects every part of their being, renders them guilty in the sight of a Holy God, and subject to the penalty which in His wrath and condemnation, He has decreed against it.

6. We believe that through faith ( and only faith) in the Lord Jesus Christ whose death was a perfect oblation and satisfaction for our sins, the sinner is freely justified by God, who instead of reckoning to us our sins, reckons Christ’s righteousness to our account. Salvation is therefore by grace and not by human merit.

7. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will return personally, visibly and gloriously to the earth, to receive His saints to Himself, and to be seen of all men. As a righteous Judge, He will divide all men into two categories- the saved and the lost. Those whose faith is in Christ will be saved eternally, and will enter into the joy of their Lord, sharing with Him His inheritance in Heaven. The unbelieving will be condemned by Him to hell, where eternally they will be punished for their sin under the righteous judgement of God.
